Bathroom fitters in Cheshire: local bathroom fitting quotes, coming soon

New bathrooms, showers, wet rooms, tiling and replacement suites: how to find and compare local bathroom fitters in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and across Cheshire, and how bathroom fitters can win work.

Honest status: QuoteZila is pre-launch. Customers cannot post jobs yet, and no businesses are listed yet. This page explains how QuoteZila will work for bathroom fitters, and for homeowners who need one. We are signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire.

What does a bathroom fitter do?

A bathroom fitter strips out and installs bathrooms, from a straight swap of a suite to a full redesign with new plumbing, tiling and lighting. Some work alone, and some run the whole job with a plumber, tiler and electrician. Typical jobs include:

  • Replacing a bath, toilet and basin
  • Installing a walk-in shower or a wet room
  • Waterproofing and tiling walls and floors
  • Moving pipework and drainage
  • Fitting extractor fans, lighting and heated towel rails
  • Boxing in pipes and fitting vanity units

What should I check before hiring a bathroom fitter?

General guidance, whichever way you find someone:

  • Ask what is included: stripping out, waste removal, plumbing, electrics, tiling, decorating and making good.
  • Bathroom electrics have special rules because of water, so ask who is doing them and what certificate you will get.
  • Ask how the area will be waterproofed, especially for showers and wet rooms.
  • Agree the programme, since you may be without a bathroom for a while.

QuoteZila plans to show customers what we checked about each business and when. Those labels describe checks only and are not a guarantee of any business or its work.

How will QuoteZila help me find bathroom fitters near me?

  1. Post your job for free. Describe the bathroom fitting work and where you are.
  2. Matched local businesses send quotes. Each job is planned to go to a small number of suitable businesses, not the whole town.
  3. Compare. See what each quote includes, ask questions and review what has been checked.
  4. Choose. Pick who you want and agree the details in writing.

This is how QuoteZila is designed to work. Customer posting is not open yet.

What should I put in my bathroom fitter job description?

  • Say what you have now and what you want: bath, shower, both, or a wet room.
  • Give the room size, with photos and the position of the soil pipe if you know it.
  • Say whether you have chosen your tiles and fittings, or want advice.
  • Mention anything the household needs, such as a toilet that must stay in use.

Are you a bathroom fitter in Cheshire? How can you get local work with no lead fees?

QuoteZila is built so that local businesses spend their time quoting, not buying enquiries. Our intention is no lead fees: you would not pay per enquiry, per job or per quote. The first 500 businesses to join at launch (the Launch 500) get 2 months free with no card needed. After that the planned price is £15 a month, starting later and only once you accept the terms. That is our current plan, not a contract. Choose Bathroom fitting as your main trade on the sign-up form and tell us how far you travel.

Which Cheshire towns will QuoteZila cover?

We are launching first in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford, Middlewich, and the wider county. See the Cheshire areas page for details. A launch area is where we plan to start, not a claim that bathroom fitters are already listed there.

Frequently asked questions about bathroom fitters

Do I need a plumber as well as a bathroom fitter?

Many bathroom fitters do the plumbing themselves or work with a plumber. Check who is responsible for each part of the job and what is covered by the quote, so nothing is missed.

How long does a bathroom refit take?

It depends on the size, the amount of plumbing and tiling, and how quickly materials arrive. Ask each business for a realistic programme in writing, and what could make it longer.

Can I find a bathroom fitter on QuoteZila yet?

Not yet. QuoteZila is pre-launch and is signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire. Customer job posting is coming soon and will be free for customers. If you are a bathroom fitter in Cheshire you can register your interest in the Launch 500 now, with 2 months free and no card needed.
