The six towns where QuoteZila is launching first, and what that means for homeowners and local businesses.
Honest status: QuoteZila is pre-launch. Customers cannot post jobs yet, and no businesses are listed yet. We are signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire.
Where is QuoteZila launching in Cheshire?
QuoteZila is launching first in Cheshire, starting with six towns: Crewe (CW1), Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford and Middlewich. We chose a small area so that the first businesses and customers can be matched properly, rather than spreading thinly. Tradespeople register with a base postcode and a travel distance, and jobs are planned to go to a small number of suitable businesses nearby.
Finding local tradespeople in Crewe (CW1)?
Crewe is a railway town in Cheshire East and the starting point for QuoteZila's launch, beginning with the CW1 postcode district and nearby towns. If you work in or around Crewe, or need work doing there, this is where we are focusing first.
Crewe has a mix of older terraces and newer estates, so jobs can range from repairs and decorating to extensions and heating upgrades.
Popular here: plumbers, electricians, builders, plasterers and cleaners. QuoteZila is pre-launch: no businesses are listed in Crewe yet, and customer posting is not open.
Finding local tradespeople in Nantwich (CW5)?
Nantwich is a historic market town in Cheshire East, close to Crewe. Its town centre has many old and listed buildings, so some homeowners need tradespeople who are comfortable with period properties.
Older and listed buildings can need specialist materials, such as lime plaster, and consent for some changes. Mention the age of your property when you describe a job.
Popular here: plumbers, electricians, builders, plasterers and cleaners. QuoteZila is pre-launch: no businesses are listed in Nantwich yet, and customer posting is not open.
Finding local tradespeople in Sandbach (CW11)?
Sandbach is a market town in Cheshire East, close to the M6 and to Crewe, Middlewich and Congleton. Businesses based here can cover several launch towns without long journeys.
Sandbach's location makes it a natural base for tradespeople who travel. When you register, tell us your base postcode and how far you are happy to go, from 5 to 40 miles.
Popular here: plumbers, electricians, builders, plasterers and cleaners. QuoteZila is pre-launch: no businesses are listed in Sandbach yet, and customer posting is not open.

Finding local tradespeople in Winsford (CW7)?
Winsford is a town on the River Weaver in Cheshire West and Chester, with a long history of salt production. It is the one launch town in the Cheshire West and Chester council area.
Because Winsford is under a different council from the other launch towns, local rules, such as planning, can differ. Check with your council when a job needs permission.
Popular here: plumbers, electricians, builders, plasterers and cleaners. QuoteZila is pre-launch: no businesses are listed in Winsford yet, and customer posting is not open.
Finding local tradespeople in Middlewich (CW10)?
