CCTV and alarm installers in Cheshire: local CCTV and alarm installation quotes, coming soon

Burglar alarms, CCTV cameras, video doorbells and smart security: how to find and compare local CCTV and alarm installers in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and across Cheshire, and how CCTV and alarm installers can win work.

Honest status: QuoteZila is pre-launch. Customers cannot post jobs yet, and no businesses are listed yet. This page explains how QuoteZila will work for CCTV and alarm installers, and for homeowners who need one. We are signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire.

What does a CCTV and alarm installer do?

A CCTV and alarm installer fits and maintains burglar alarms, cameras and related equipment at homes and businesses. Typical jobs include:

  • Wired and wireless burglar alarms
  • CCTV cameras and recorders
  • Video doorbells and smart cameras
  • Alarm servicing and repairs
  • Remote viewing set-up
  • Security for shops, offices and sheds

What should I check before hiring a CCTV and alarm installer?

General guidance, whichever way you find someone:

  • Ask what equipment and cabling is included, and who looks after servicing, monitoring and any subscriptions.
  • Cameras that cover public areas or neighbours' property can raise privacy and data protection duties. Ask the installer for advice and check the guidance from the Information Commissioner.
  • Ask how footage is stored, who can see it and how it is secured.
  • Check whether your insurer requires a particular type or standard of alarm.

Useful official sites: Information Commissioner's Office. QuoteZila is not affiliated with these organisations.

QuoteZila plans to show customers what we checked about each business and when. Those labels describe checks only and are not a guarantee of any business or its work.

How will QuoteZila help me find CCTV and alarm installers near me?

  1. Post your job for free. Describe the CCTV and alarm installation work and where you are.
  2. Matched local businesses send quotes. Each job is planned to go to a small number of suitable businesses, not the whole town.
  3. Compare. See what each quote includes, ask questions and review what has been checked.
  4. Choose. Pick who you want and agree the details in writing.

This is how QuoteZila is designed to work. Customer posting is not open yet.

What should I put in my CCTV and alarm installer job description?

  • Describe the property and what you want to protect.
  • Say how many cameras or alarm sensors, and where.
  • Mention whether you want remote viewing.
  • State if you have an existing system that needs upgrading.

Are you a CCTV and alarm installer in Cheshire? How can you get local work with no lead fees?

QuoteZila is built so that local businesses spend their time quoting, not buying enquiries. Our intention is no lead fees: you would not pay per enquiry, per job or per quote. The first 500 businesses to join at launch (the Launch 500) get 2 months free with no card needed. After that the planned price is £15 a month, starting later and only once you accept the terms. That is our current plan, not a contract. Choose CCTV & alarm installation as your main trade on the sign-up form and tell us how far you travel.

We are launching first in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford, Middlewich, and the wider county. See the Cheshire areas page for details. A launch area is where we plan to start, not a claim that CCTV and alarm installers are already listed there.
