Beauty therapists in Cheshire: local beauty therapy quotes, coming soon

Facials, waxing, lashes, brows, tanning and mobile beauty treatments: how to find and compare local beauty therapists in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and across Cheshire, and how beauty therapists can win work.

Honest status: QuoteZila is pre-launch. Customers cannot post jobs yet, and no businesses are listed yet. This page explains how QuoteZila will work for beauty therapists, and for homeowners who need one. We are signing up local businesses first, starting in Cheshire.

What does a beauty therapist do?

A beauty therapist offers treatments for skin, hair removal, eyebrows and lashes, either at a salon, from a home studio or by visiting you. Typical treatments include:

  • Facials and skin care treatments
  • Waxing and threading
  • Eyelash lifts, tints and extensions
  • Brow shaping and tinting
  • Manicures and pedicures
  • Spray tans

What should I check before hiring a beauty therapist?

General guidance, whichever way you find someone:

  • Ask about their qualifications and their insurance for the treatments you want.
  • For tints, lashes and some other treatments, ask about patch tests and follow the advice. Do not skip them.
  • Tell the therapist about allergies, skin conditions, medication and pregnancy, as these can affect which treatments are safe.
  • Ask about hygiene and whether single-use items are used.

QuoteZila plans to show customers what we checked about each business and when. Those labels describe checks only and are not a guarantee of any business or its work.

How will QuoteZila help me find beauty therapists near me?

  1. Post your job for free. Describe the beauty therapy work and where you are.
  2. Matched local businesses send quotes. Each job is planned to go to a small number of suitable businesses, not the whole town.
  3. Compare. See what each quote includes, ask questions and review what has been checked.
  4. Choose. Pick who you want and agree the details in writing.

This is how QuoteZila is designed to work. Customer posting is not open yet.

What should I put in my beauty therapist job description?

  • Say which treatments you want.
  • State any allergies, skin conditions or medication.
  • Say whether you want to visit a salon or want a mobile appointment at home.
  • For an event, say the date and the number of people.

Are you a beauty therapist in Cheshire? How can you get local work with no lead fees?

QuoteZila is built so that local businesses spend their time quoting, not buying enquiries. Our intention is no lead fees: you would not pay per enquiry, per job or per quote. The first 500 businesses to join at launch (the Launch 500) get 2 months free with no card needed. After that the planned price is £15 a month, starting later and only once you accept the terms. That is our current plan, not a contract. Choose Beauty therapy as your main trade on the sign-up form and tell us how far you travel.

Which Cheshire towns will QuoteZila cover?

We are launching first in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Winsford, Middlewich, and the wider county. See the Cheshire areas page for details. A launch area is where we plan to start, not a claim that beauty therapists are already listed there.

Frequently asked questions about beauty therapists

Patch tests are normally recommended before tinting and some other treatments, and many therapists require one. Ask about their process well in advance of your appointment.

What do I need to tell my beauty therapist?

Mention allergies, skin conditions, medication, pregnancy and anything else relevant. A responsible therapist will ask these questions during a consultation.
